Back in 1965 Jack Atack launched his own, modest plumbing business. Over the years the company has expanded, growing steadily on a foundation of highly reputable service.

Today Atack Plumbing and Heating Ltd is still very much a hands on family firm that prides itself in delivering the best. Jacks' daughter, Jayne Glen, his son Joe and daughter in law Wilma, are now at the helm and have overseen an expansion into bathroom supply. In 2010 they marked the 45th anniversary of the company by opening a new showroom, The Powder Rooms, at their base in St Mary's Industrial Estate, Dumfries.
